Hey Everyone!
Happy October 1st!! I LOVE October! It is my favorite :)) Besides getting ready for the season to start- so many fun things happen in October!
The season is just over 1 month to go! Our season start date is November 9th this year! That will be our very first day of practice so add that important day to your calendar.
** I would encourage you to start Now if you haven’t already with any workouts you haven’t been doing.
** Go to some open gyms, set up some classes this month before the season starts, STRETCH and condition. Preparing yourself will help to start the year off right!
** Coach Peterson from Woodbury is coaching some high school workouts on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursday nights from 7:30-9:30 at Woodbury High School in the gymnastics center in October. I’m not sure if they will still accept people for one month, but you can certainly try. I know a few of the girls have been going weekly.

** YOUTH PROGRAM FLYERS ARE OUT! Here is a digital copy to view. The online registration opens Friday October 2nd. Classes start November 16th and will run through February 10th on Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesday nights. Please register early as classes will fill quickly.

Here are some important dates to also include:
Monday October 19th– Informational Team Meeting- Time and date TBD- will post as we get closer.
Friday November 6th– SET UP day 1- after school 3:30-5:30pm
Saturday November 7th– SET UP day 2- 9am-12pm
** SET UP days are required for any returning gymnasts! This is as everyone knows a group effort. If you are joining us for the first time- you are welcome to come, but be prepared for heavy lifting and getting dusty. Parents(dads) please if you are available plan to come saturday morning. In the past we have had a custodian available to help fix any broken floor boards and other little things but that custodian has left Henry Sibley and is working someplace else. We will need some dads with tools to come help repair anything we might need fixed for this season. If you are not able to be there, please let me know.
