I can’t believe we are in week 5 of our season! Time is already flying by!! We had a FANTASTIC week last week as a team. The girls had not just one, but TWO meets and they rocked both of them! So much to celebrate!
Thursday December 5th, we had a meet against Mahtomedi. The girls started off the season with a team high score of 115.5! The girls showed off their routines, and we hosted a great first meet!
We are starting a new tradition with crowning a BEAM QUEEN after our weekly meets. Marin Awada is our BEAM QUEEN this week after sticking her beam routine and earning the high score of our stuck beam routines! Way to go Marin!
Saturday December 7th, the girls headed to Simley for an Invitational. We competed against 6 other teams. The girls made some adjustments to their routines, and it paid off! The girls jumped up to a team score of 119.15. We ended up taking 5th place with a handful of gymnasts placing on each event within the top 10. The coaches were very proud of all their hard work!!

This week is a little weird- but here is our UPDATED schedule —
December 9th — No Practice
December 10th – Practice 3:45-5:45 — No Kids Program
December 11th – Practice 3:45-5:45
December 12th — Away meet at Hastings. Bus will leave Sibley at 3:50pm!
December 13th — Team Pictures @ 4pm. Practice will be determined by time we finish pictures.
UPCOMING — Our last Grocery Bagging Date is coming up on December 21st. Coaches will remind girls of the shift they signed up for!
